Baptism - Collin and Reed
Reed and Collin became the newest members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Saturday, November 1st, 2008.

Marathon Weekend
Mom: Great weekend with the fam, except Cade, of course. We missed you!! We hoped the weather would be fabulous for the race, it wasn't, and we are sad about Amy's knee when she had trained so hard, but we are proud of Amy & Taylor. What an accomplishment, speaking from experience. Thought I would send a sequence of pictures of icing, stretching, posing, enduring and finishing. Enjoy

mom and dads new crib
Angie: dad brought the RV home in preparation for the big day. here's a look at the new bathroom and closet big enough for a big party. Amy and I tried out the new shower today (not at the same time of course) and it was fabulous. See you later, off to carbo load. Of course I have to support the runners!

Verna in hospital and more
Angie: Grandma Verna passed out today at the BYU creamery. She is now in the hospital and may require a pacemaker.
We are in St. George eating peanut butter kiss cookies and wishing Cade could be here. We'll keep you posted as the marathon events unfold. The house looks good at least from what we can see in the dark. Cade, your poster for the gig this weekend looks sweet. If we can think of some other philosophical things to blog that pass Cade's test we'll do so!! Ha ha.

School
Cole:School has been o.k., but different then grade school. All the different classes and a earlier time that school starts and ends. Grades looking good. I hope I keep it up. I'm reading a cool and awesome series called the Lightning Thief and it's about mystical Greek gods and a half blood boy that is being hunted by bad mystical creatures. It's a good book and recommend it to all. see you soon.

Cade: I just want to say that this blog welcomes almost everything. It is an opportunity for us to grow closer and get to know each other better. Although I can't wait to see the latest we capture with our cameras given the natural talent of our photographic abilities, let's not forget to include insight, complaints, hopes, frustrations, gossip disguised as something else, advice seeking/giving, emotional mania, educational interests, books being read, plans, journal worthy material... whatever. Only be advised that what happens on the blog doesn't necessarily stay on the blog.

it all started in provo
Our beginnings take place in the small town of provo, Utah. The history may best be told later by those who were in fact involved, but suffice it to say for now that there were two in the beginning, Ann and Kent; Accompanying which would be a fine photo of vintage make if I had it to post. Thus started the news of the garrett family...
